The marriage halls inaugurated during this event were located in three Panchayats of Kudhani block — Mohammadpur Mubarak, Kinaru, and Pakhahi. The foundation stones for these halls were laid in the presence of the Chief Minister. Additionally, various Panchayat government buildings across different regions were also inaugurated.
Utilization of Panchayat Buildings for Public Service

Upcoming Construction of Madwan Block and Circle Office

The building construction department has already requested a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Block Development Officer (BDO). The new office will replace the current office, which is located in a makeshift space shared between Mohammadpur Sube and Jiyan Khurd Panchayats.
The construction team, including engineers, had inspected the site on September 2. After the inspection, Ravi Chandra, the executive engineer of the building division, issued an order to demolish the old building and construct a new one. The new building will accommodate both the Block office and the Circle office as well as residential quarters for staff.
Steps Toward Construction and Relocation
BDO Archana Kumari confirmed that the building construction department has already approved the plan. However, the relocation of the current offices and the demolition of the old structures will only take place after receiving the final guidance from the District Magistrate post the Dussehra festival. Once this guidance is received, an NOC will be issued, and the offices will be shifted, and the old building will be demolished.
Previously, the Madwan Block and Circle offices were being operated from the Primary School building, which was later shifted to the Panchayat Samiti and MGNREGA buildings. The new office complex is expected to bring more functionality and better services for the local administration, and its construction is seen as a major improvement in the district’s infrastructure.
