Bihar Weather Update : Dry Conditions to Continue, Mild Cold in Morning and Night

Bihar Weather Update: As February progresses, signs of rising temperatures are becoming visible across Bihar. However, residents are still experiencing mild cold during early mornings and late nights. During the day, sunshine is getting stronger, indicating a gradual transition toward warmer days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Bihar will remain dry today. There is no rainfall forecast at present. Clear skies are expected across most districts, allowing bright sunshine during the daytime. The department has predicted that maximum temperatures may range between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures are expected to remain between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius.

Weather officials have also indicated that there will be no significant change in temperature over the next few days. This stability suggests that Bihar will continue to witness a mix of mild winter conditions in the morning and warmer afternoons.

Gradual Rise in Day Temperature Across Bihar

The increasing intensity of sunlight during the day is noticeable in many parts of the state. While winter has not completely faded, its impact is gradually reducing. Early morning fog has largely subsided in several areas. Clear skies are helping daytime temperatures to climb steadily.

Despite this warming trend, the difference between day and night temperatures remains substantial. The temperature variation is causing discomfort among residents. Health experts often warn that sudden temperature fluctuations can lead to seasonal illnesses.

The dry weather pattern is expected to persist as no western disturbances or major weather systems are currently influencing the region. This means that rainfall chances remain minimal for the time being.

Muzaffarpur Records Sharp Temperature Variation

In Muzaffarpur district, temperature fluctuations continued on Wednesday. While the maximum temperature recorded an increase, the minimum temperature saw a drop. This created a difference of nearly 17.5 degrees Celsius between day and night temperatures.

Such a wide temperature gap has been observed consistently over the past two weeks. Due to this variation, both children and adults are experiencing cold and cough-related symptoms. Doctors advise residents to take precautions during early morning and late evening hours.

According to Dr. A. Sattar, Nodal Officer at the Rural Meteorological Center in Pusa, the minimum temperature is expected to rise above 12 degrees Celsius soon. This gradual rise could reduce the sharp difference between day and night temperatures. However, mild cold conditions are likely to continue for a few more days.

Temperature and Humidity Levels in the Last 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, the maximum temperature recorded was 26 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature dropped to 8.5 degrees Celsius. This minimum temperature was still 2.8 degrees below normal levels for this time of year.

Humidity levels remained high during the early morning hours. Morning humidity was recorded at 95 percent. By the afternoon, humidity levels dropped to around 50 percent. High morning humidity combined with low temperatures often increases the chill factor.

Clear skies are expected again on Thursday morning. With uninterrupted sunshine, the daytime temperature could reach 26 degrees Celsius or slightly higher. However, nights are likely to remain comparatively cooler.

No Rain Forecast in Bihar

The Meteorological Department has clearly stated that there is no rainfall forecast for Bihar at present. The weather will remain dry across the state. This dry spell is beneficial for agricultural activities that require clear conditions. However, farmers are advised to monitor soil moisture levels carefully.

The absence of rain also indicates that winter showers are unlikely in the coming days. As February advances, the state is slowly transitioning toward pre-summer conditions. The gradual warming pattern is typical for this time of year in Bihar.

Health Advisory Amid Weather Fluctuations

The continued variation in day and night temperatures can affect vulnerable groups. Children and elderly people are particularly sensitive to sudden weather changes. Doctors recommend wearing light woolens during early morning and late night hours. Staying hydrated during the day is equally important as temperatures rise.

Seasonal flu cases often increase during transitional weather phases. Residents are advised to maintain hygiene and avoid sudden exposure to cold air at night.

Outlook for the Coming Days

Weather experts believe that temperatures will remain within the current range for the next few days. Maximum temperatures are expected to stay between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures may hover around 12 to 14 degrees Celsius.

If the warming trend continues, winter conditions will gradually fade by the end of February. For now, Bihar is experiencing a balanced weather phase with mild cold mornings and sunny afternoons.

Bihar Weather remains stable with dry conditions dominating the forecast. With no major weather disturbances in sight, residents can expect similar conditions in the coming days. The transition from winter to early summer is becoming more evident with each passing day.
