BSSC 2nd Inter Level Vacancy 2026 : Application Deadline Extended Again

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission has once again extended the registration and application deadline for the BSSC 2nd Inter Level Vacancy. The repeated extension has brought temporary relief to pending applicants but also triggered frustration among lakhs of candidates waiting for the examination date.

As per the latest update, the last date for fee submission has been extended from January 13 to January 29, 2026. At the same time, the final date to complete and submit the online application has been extended from January 15 to January 31, 2026. Candidates who missed earlier deadlines now have another opportunity to apply.

Recruitment Notification Pending Since 2023

This recruitment process was originally announced in 2023. Since then, the vacancy count has been revised several times. Along with the increase in posts, the application deadline has also been extended multiple times. Due to these repeated changes, the recruitment process has remained incomplete for nearly three years.

According to available data, nearly 30 lakh applications have already been received. The continuous reopening of the application window has angered many aspirants. Several candidates claim the recruitment has turned into a prolonged process without any clarity on the examination schedule.

Many aspirants waiting for the exam date expressed disappointment. They stated that reopening forms repeatedly delays the examination further. Some candidates alleged that the seriousness of the recruitment process is being compromised.

Social Media Reactions Reflect Candidate Anger

Several reactions have surfaced on social media platforms regarding the delay. One user wrote that the BSSC Inter Level recruitment has been accepting applications from 2023 to 2026. The user questioned when the actual examination would finally take place.

Another user sarcastically asked how many more years candidates would be asked to fill the same recruitment form. Such comments reflect widespread frustration among aspirants who have been preparing for the examination for a long time.

Candidates also recalled the first Inter Level recruitment advertisement released in 2014. That recruitment process reportedly took seven years to declare the final result. Many fear a similar delay this time as well.
