The Bihar School Examination Board has released the Class 12 admit card for the annual examination 2026. Students appearing in the Intermediate theoretical examination can now receive their admit cards through their respective institutions. The board has clearly stated that only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the examination.
The Bihar Board Inter examination will begin from 2 February 2026 across the state. The admit cards have been issued for students who successfully passed the sent-up examination conducted by their institutions. Candidates who failed or remained absent in the sent-up test will not receive the admit card.
Admit Card Available on Official Website for Institutions
According to the official notification, the admit card has been uploaded on the website intermediate.biharboardonline.com. The admit card will remain available on the portal till 1 February 2026. The board has instructed heads of institutions to download the admit cards using their user ID and password.
After downloading, the admit card must be signed and stamped by the institution head. The verified admit card should be distributed to students on time. Institutions have also been asked to maintain a proper distribution record.
Students are informed that they cannot download the admit card on their own. They must collect it only from their respective schools or colleges.
Admit Card Issued After Verification Process
The board clarified that earlier a dummy admit card was issued. This dummy admit card was based on online registration and examination application details submitted by students. Candidates were given an opportunity to correct any errors online.
After the correction window was closed, the final admit card has now been issued. The board has made it clear that no further corrections will be allowed. Subject changes or corrections in details are not permitted at this stage.
Any violation of these instructions will invite strict action. If any principal or centre superintendent makes unauthorized changes, disciplinary action will follow. In such cases, the concerned student’s result will not be published.
Sent-Up Examination Mandatory for Eligibility
The admit card is valid only for students who passed the sent-up examination. Students who were failed, absent, or not promoted in the sent-up test will not be allowed to appear in the theory papers.
The board has directed principals of all recognized Plus Two institutions to strictly follow this instruction. Under no circumstances should admit cards be issued to ineligible students.
If any institution issues an admit card to a failed or absent sent-up candidate, it will be treated as a serious irregularity. The board will take strict action in such cases. Any resulting problem will be the responsibility of both the student and the institution head.
Clear Warning Issued to Institutions
The Bihar School Examination Board has once again reiterated its zero-tolerance policy. Only students who have cleared the sent-up examination can sit for the Inter exam 2026. Institutions have been warned against issuing admit cards illegally.
If such an incident occurs, the concerned principal will be held accountable. The board has stated that it will not accept any justification later.
Facility of Scribe for Differently Abled Candidates
The board has also announced special arrangements for differently abled candidates. Such candidates will be provided the facility of a scribe during the examination.
