
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the Sent-Up Exam Datesheet 2025–2026 for both Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) students. These exams are mandatory for all students appearing in the annual 2026 board examinations. The BSEB has made it clear that only those students who qualify in the Sent-Up exams will be allowed to appear in the final board exams.
Intermediate Sent-Up Exam Schedule
The Bihar Board Inter Sent-Up Exams 2025–2026 for theoretical subjects will begin on November 19, 2025, and continue till November 26, 2025. The practical examinations will be held from November 27 to November 29, 2025. Students must appear for both theoretical and practical exams as per the issued timetable.
The first shift of the examination will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, while the second shift will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Each paper will have a 15-minute cool-off period during which students can read and understand the question paper.
The Inter Sent-Up exam subjects are scheduled as follows:

November 19: In the first shift, Science students will take Physics, Arts students Philosophy, and Commerce students Entrepreneurship. The second shift will include Political Science, Accountancy, and Chemistry.

November 20: The first shift will have Mathematics for Science and Arts streams, while the second shift will include Geography, Biology, and Business Studies.

November 21: English examination for all streams under subject group 1 will be held in the first shift, and in the second shift, students will appear for Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Maithili, Magahi, Bhojpuri, or Prakrit as per their chosen subject under group 2.

November 22: The first shift will include Computer Science, while the second shift will cover Vocational subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Mathematics, History, and Accountancy.

November 24: In the first shift, Science students will have Agriculture, while Arts and Commerce students will appear for Economics. The second shift will include Psychology for the Arts stream.

November 25: Sociology in the first shift and Music in the second shift for Arts students.

November 26: History in the first shift and Home Science in the second shift.
Matric Sent-Up Exam Schedule
The Bihar Board 10th Sent-Up Exam 2025–2026 will be conducted from November 19 to November 22, 2025, while the practical exam will be held on November 24, 2025.
The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, and the second shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, following the same cool-off period policy as the Intermediate exams.
The subject-wise schedule is as follows:

November 19: Mother tongue (Hindi – 101, Bangla, Maithili) in the first shift, and Second Indian Language (Sanskrit, Hindi – 106, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri) in the second shift.

November 20: Science in the first shift and Social Science in the second shift.

November 21: Mathematics in the first shift and English in the second shift.

November 22: Optional subjects such as Higher Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, Sanskrit, Home Science, Fine Arts, Dance, and Music in the first shift, followed by vocational subjects like Security, Beautician, Tourism, Retail Management, Automobile, Electronics and Hardware, Telecom, Beauty and Wellness, and IT in the second shift.
Rules and Eligibility
According to the Bihar School Examination Board, only those students with at least 75 percent attendance in their respective institutions will be eligible to appear in the Sent-Up exams. The exams will be held at the institution level, and they are mandatory for regular, independent, and qualifying category students who will appear in the 2026 annual examinations.
Students belonging to former, compartmental, or improvement categories are not required to appear in the Sent-Up examination.
The BSEB has emphasized that passing the Sent-Up examination is compulsory. Those who fail or remain absent in this exam will not be allowed to appear in the Bihar Board Annual Exam 2026. Such students will also not receive their admit cards.
Important Note for Students
The Bihar Board has made it clear that the Sent-Up exams act as a screening process for the final board exams. Students should prepare seriously as these tests determine their eligibility for the upcoming main examinations. Schools and colleges have been instructed to conduct the exams fairly and ensure timely completion.
The BSEB Sent-Up Exam 2025–2026 is a crucial step for both Matric and Intermediate students in Bihar, as it lays the foundation for the final board exams to be held in early 2026.
