The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially announced the dates for the third round of Undergraduate Medical Admission Counseling (UGMAC-2025). This counseling will be conducted for admissions to various medical courses including MBBS, BDS, and Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & AH). Third Round of Counseling Dates and Process
As per the notification issued by BCECEB, the online registration and application-cum-choice filling process for the third round of counseling began recently. Students were provided an opportunity to fill in their preferences until 10 PM on October 27, 2025. The rank cards for the third round are scheduled to be released on October 29, 2025. After the rank cards are made available, the provisional seat allotment results will be announced on November 2, 2025.
Candidates who are selected in this round will be required to download their allotment order between November 2 and November 5. The final step of the counseling process will involve document verification and enrollment, which will take place between November 4 and November 5, 2025. These steps are essential to complete the admission procedure for the students who have been allotted seats.
New Seat Additions in Medical Colleges
The BCECEB has also clarified that there has been an increase in the number of available seats in several private medical colleges. For instance, the Virat Ramayan Institute of Medical Sciences in Chakia, East Champaran, and the RDJMM College in Turki, Muzaffarpur, have each added 50 new seats for the MBBS course. This increase in seats provides more opportunities for aspiring medical students in the state.
In addition, the Katihar Medical College has also expanded its capacity by adding 50 more MBBS seats. The Letter of Permission (LOP) for these additional seats has been officially issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The expansion of medical education facilities in Bihar reflects the state’s commitment to improving access to quality medical education.
