Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2025 Begins Today

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the official schedule for the Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2025. As per the announcement, the registration for admission to 85% of the state quota seats in MBBS and BDS programs begins today, July 30, 2025. Admission to 2897 MBBS and BDS Seats in Bihar

A total of 2897 seats will be filled through the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) process. These include 2582 seats in MBBS and 315 seats in BDS programs under the state quota. The counselling will also cover admission to B.V.Sc & A.H. courses at Bihar Veterinary Colleges.

The distribution includes 1232 MBBS seats in government medical colleges and 1350 in private institutions. For BDS, there are 115 government and 200 private dental college seats available under the state quota.

Counselling Schedule and Registration Details

The online registration process for Bihar NEET UG 2025 counselling has started on July 30, 2025. Candidates have until August 4, 2025, 10:00 PM to register and fill in their college choices. The application form and choice filling for the first and second rounds must also be submitted before the deadline. The final submission of the application form is open until 11:59 PM on August 4, 2025.

Candidates can complete the payment process using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. The rank cards for the counselling will be released on August 6, 2025.

Fee Structure for Counselling

Candidates from the General, EWS, BC, and EBC categories must pay a counselling fee of ₹1200. Those from the SC, ST, and DQ categories are required to pay ₹600. However, for admission in private colleges, the counselling fee for all candidates is ₹1200.

As per the Bihar Government’s latest instructions, 50% of MBBS and BDS seats in private colleges will have fees equivalent to those of government colleges. This directive aims to ensure affordability and parity in medical education across institutions.
