For regular and Antyodaya ration card holders, the quantity of ration provided will vary. Antyodaya cards are typically reserved for the most economically vulnerable families, and they will receive additional support in terms of food quantity.

The One Nation, One Ration Card scheme will also be strengthened under this new initiative. Under the new system, eligible families will also receive 6 to 8 subsidized LPG cylinders every year.
