The Bihar School Examination Board has announced major changes for the Inter and Matric examinations this year. No Mobile Phones Allowed for Monitoring Officials
This year, even officials involved in exam monitoring will not carry mobile phones. Officers visiting examination centers must leave their phones inside vehicles. The directive applies to all administrative and inspection staff.
Officials said this move will prevent any misuse of communication devices. It will also help maintain fairness during the examination process. The order will be implemented strictly at every center.
Increased Number of Examination Centers in the District
Inter examinations will be conducted at eighty-one centers in the district this year. Last year, there were seventy-four centers. The increase aims to reduce overcrowding and improve management.
The Additional Chief Secretary instructed officials to inform students properly. Candidates must be made aware of all new rules in advance. Any confusion on exam day must be avoided.
Students Asked to Reach Centers by 8 am
Students have been advised to reach their examination centers by 8 am. Center superintendents have been instructed to display entry timings clearly. Information boards must be placed outside centers in large letters.
Entry will start at 8:30 am for the first shift. The main gate will close exactly at 9 am. In the second shift, entry will begin at 1 pm. The gate will close at 1:30 pm sharp.
Inter examinations will continue from February 2 to February 13. Authorities said no relaxation will be given under any circumstances.
Warning Issued Against Late Entry Attempts
All concerned officials must reach examination centers by 8 am. The Additional Chief Secretary issued a strict warning regarding discipline. Candidates attempting forced entry will face serious consequences.
If any student tries to enter late forcibly, action will follow. Jumping over boundary walls will be treated as a criminal offense. Police action will be initiated immediately in such cases.

Inter answer sheets will be checked at selected institutions. These include Chapman Girls Plus Two School, District School, DN High School, Marwari High School, and Mukherjee Seminary School.
Officials said security arrangements will be tight at all centers. Entry will be restricted to authorized personnel only.
Evaluation Centers for Matric Answer Sheets
Matric answer sheets will be evaluated at six locations. These include BB Collegiate School, Vidya Bihar High School, Tirhut Academy School, Prabhat Tara Girls High School, Abeda High School, and Radha Devi Girls High School.
All centers will function under CCTV surveillance. Evaluation work will follow board-issued protocols strictly.
Report Sought on Boundary Walls Within 24 Hours
Following the review meeting, officials sought reports on boundary walls. District Education Officer directed center heads to submit reports within twenty-four hours. The report must detail the condition of boundary walls.
Officials must mention if repairs are required. Security gaps must be clearly highlighted in the report.
Boundary Issues Found at Two Centers
Two examination centers were found lacking proper boundary walls. At one center, a pond exists behind the school building. Another center has a damaged boundary wall.
