Currently, industries in Bihar provide jobs to nearly 50,000 people every year. This number has been increasing steadily. Each year, employment figures are almost doubling. Based on this trend, around one lakh people may get industrial jobs in 2026 alone.

Authorities expect this growth to continue in the coming years. Improved infrastructure and policy support are contributing factors. The government believes industrial expansion will reduce migration and boost local employment.

The state government has also outlined a long-term employment vision. Between 2025 and 2030, the target is to provide jobs and employment to one crore youths. This includes government jobs, private sector roles, and self-employment opportunities.
