The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued the second set of dummy admit cards for the 2026 matriculation (10th) and intermediate (12th) examinations. These admit cards are available for students preparing to take the exams. Both school principals and students themselves can download these dummy admit cards. The board has made it clear that students can access the dummy admit cards online through designated portals for both 10th and 12th-grade students.
How to Download the Dummy Admit Card
Students appearing for the intermediate (12th) exams can visit the official website intermediate.biharboardonline.com. To download their admit cards, they will need to enter their roll number, faculty, school and college code, and date of birth. After logging in, students should click on the link “Click here Intermediate Dummy Admit Card (Student Login)” to download the admit card.
Similarly, students appearing for the matriculation (10th) exams should go to exam.biharboardonline.org. They will need to enter their roll number, school and college code, and birth date. Once they log in, students should click on “Click here Matric Dummy Admit Card (Student Login)” to download their admit card.
Additionally, dummy admit cards can also be downloaded using the BSEB Information App. This provides an alternative way for students to access their dummy admit cards quickly.
What to Do if There are Errors in the Dummy Admit Card
If students find any discrepancies in their dummy admit cards, such as errors in names, parents’ names, or date of birth, these should be reported immediately. The school principal is required to send a correction request via email to the board at [email protected]. The correction request must be sent by December 4th, and the request should be submitted on the school’s letterhead with the principal’s signature and stamp.
For errors related to gender, caste, religion, photograph, signature, subjects, nationality, Aadhaar number, or category of the candidate, students can make corrections directly on the board’s website. These changes can be made by the school principal with the necessary supporting documents.
Role of School Principals in the Admit Card Distribution Process
School principals will download the admit cards for their students using their login credentials. After downloading, principals are responsible for distributing the dummy admit cards to students without any delay. It is crucial for students to check all the information on their dummy admit cards once they receive them. If there are any errors, they must submit an online application for correction through their school principal within the prescribed time.
Restrictions on Name Changes
The Bihar Board has made it clear that there will be no provision for complete name changes for students or their parents/guardians. If it is found that a student has attempted to make a full change to their name, the board will cancel their candidature. Strict action will be taken against the school principal or institution involved in such cases.
Professional Trade Requirement for Vocational Students
The Bihar Board has also emphasized that for vocational courses, it is mandatory for students to complete their studies in a specific trade. The board has identified certain plus two (12th grade) schools in each district where vocational training is provided. Students from the Science, Commerce, and Arts faculties, who are enrolled in vocational education, will have to complete their education in one of these recognized trades to qualify for the exam.
The board has made these steps clear to ensure the proper organization of the examination process for both 10th and 12th-grade students. All students are advised to follow the guidelines carefully and ensure that their dummy admit cards are error-free.
The issuance of the second dummy admit cards for the 2026 Bihar Board exams is an important step in preparing students for their final exams. Students should download their dummy admit cards from the official websites and verify all the details mentioned. Any errors should be corrected promptly with the help of the school principal. It is also important to note that no complete name changes will be allowed under any circumstances. Students from vocational backgrounds must also ensure they meet the trade requirements for their respective courses.
With these measures in place, the Bihar School Examination Board is working to ensure a smooth and fair examination process for all students in 2026.
