For both the BSSC CGL-4 and Office Attendant recruitment, the application deadline was initially set for November 21, 2025, but the final submission date has been extended to November 24, 2025.
Increase in Vacancies for BSSC CGL-4 and Office Attendant Roles
A few days ago, BSSC had already announced an increase of 60 vacancies in the CGL-4 recruitment and 661 additional vacancies in the Office Attendant recruitment. Initially, the BSSC CGL-4 recruitment had 1481 vacancies, while the Office Attendant recruitment had 3727 vacancies listed. With the latest update, the total number of vacancies for both roles has now risen significantly.
Third Recruitment Update: Stenographer Vacancies Increased
In addition to the previously mentioned recruitments, the stenographer vacancies have also been increased. The total number of vacancies for stenographers has now been raised from 432 to 531. This marks the third major recruitment with increased vacancies under the BSSC recruitment process.
BSSC CGL-4 Application Form Corrections
BSSC has opened an edit window for applicants to make corrections in their application forms. The commission has acknowledged several requests from candidates and issued a notice stating that applicants can make corrections in their forms for 12 specific points. The deadline to make corrections in the application forms is November 24, 2025.
Benefits for Contractual Employees
For candidates with previous contractual experience, a new provision has been introduced. They will now receive up to 25 additional points in recognition of their past service. For each year of satisfactory service, candidates will be awarded a maximum of five points per year. The total score for previous contractual work can be adjusted proportionally based on the length of the service and the number of working days per year.
BSSC CGL-4 Recruitment Process: Preliminary and Main Exams
The recruitment process for BSSC CGL-4 will consist of two stages: the preliminary exam and the main exam. Candidates who successfully clear the preliminary exam will be called for the main exam.
