The Election Commission has set up a control room at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in Bihar, where all complaints or information regarding the voting process will be received. Appropriate actions or measures will be taken based on the nature of the complaints. The control room will remain operational until the end of the voting process.
Helpline Details for Reporting Voting Issues
The Election Commission has provided a dedicated helpline phone number for voters to call if they experience any issues during the election process. The phone number is 06122824001. For those who prefer to send a fax, the designated fax number is 06122215611. Voters can also email their concerns to [email protected] or [email protected]. The complaints will be addressed in real-time, and necessary actions will be taken by the authorities to ensure the smooth conduct of the election.
In addition to these communication channels, the control room at the CEO office will be monitoring the situation closely, and staff will take appropriate actions in response to any complaints or irregularities. The control room will continue to function until the entire voting process is completed.
Election Preparations for the First Phase
Polling teams and security forces have already begun arriving at the designated polling stations. As voting day approaches, the areas where elections are being held have been declared as holidays to ensure smooth conduct of the voting process. To maintain law and order, a large number of central paramilitary forces have been deployed in Bihar to ensure security and prevent any disruptions during the elections.
On November 5, 2025, Vinod Singh Gunjiyal, the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar, inspected the State Command Control Center. During the inspection, he took a briefing on live webcasting arrangements for all polling booths. The CEO emphasized the importance of district-wise monitoring and instructed the team to ensure real-time updates from each booth. Amit Pandey, the Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Prashant C.H., and OSD Shriprakash, along with other officers, were present during the inspection.
After the first phase on November 6, the second phase of voting will take place on November 11, 2025. This phase will cover the remaining 122 seats across other districts in Bihar. The election results will be declared on November 14, 2025, marking the conclusion of the election process.
